Msc Jaksa Backovic

Chief of Unit for Combating High-Tech Crime at the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption, Police Directorate - Ministry of Interior of Montenegro.

Jaksa is in charge of gathering, processing, analazyng and afterword acting upon results of data analyses. His job position involves analysis of current situations, risk assessment, implementation of state of the art trend and protections against cyber-crime. Then, Jaksa is in charge of monitoring, adaptation and implementation of new trends in cyber-crime with the aim to amend Criminal Procedure Code and Criminal Code.

One of Jaksa’s primary tasks is to ensure implementation of Budapest Cyber Crime Conventions in Montenegro. He continuously present lectures on the topic cyber-crime challenges to Governmental, NGO and private sector.

Mr Backovic has MSc in Forensic Computing & Cybercrime Investigation at University College Dablin. He is a member of the Project team which aim is to straighten the institution in combating cyber-crime in Montenegro and OSCE Expert in the field of Cyber-crime.
